Here's Conor Oberst and the seemingly ever-expanding, white robbed folk rock warriors he has backing him performing "Hot Knives" on Letterman. If you caught the show, you know Dave had plenty of fun with the spectral decoder that comes packaged with copies of Cassadaga. Why exactly do Oberst and others playing guitar seem to have old school telephone chords attached to their instruments? Remember when phones even had chords? Wow, how long ago was that? Remember how a woman could get wrapped up in one while walking around and talking, and how that was somewhat sexy? And they say technology improves everything.
