The whole cardboard cutouts moving in herky-jerky motion thing always seems to make for a good video. Think "Take me Out" or "Float On." Midlake used it to nice effect last year for "Gathered in Spring," and now the Apples and director Nol Honig employ a similar style here. Although I could stand a lot less of Robert Schneider. Some music nerds are much better heard and not seen. Myself included.
