We reported last month that Vevo had been in talks with Facebook and that a partnership appeared to be taking shape. The thing is, though, is that the discussions also seemed very early, mostly because Vevo still has a year to go in its contract with YouTube. But based on a new development this morning, the Vevo/Facebook partnership appears very likely. Why? Because if you try to log-in to the video site now, you have to do so using Facebook, according to Digital Music News. And if you create a new Vevo account starting today, you're met with the following message:
"To get the full VEVO experience, please enter through Facebook. This way you'll enjoy a richer experience while watching and sharing music videos and all of our other content."
Yeah...when are they just going to announce their plans? [Verge]
