As we reported last Friday, the case against Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, went to the jury following six weeks of testimony in the the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles county. And today, the verdict has been revealed: Murray has been found guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter.
Murray now faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license. Sentencing will take place on or before Dec. 8 and it's expected to take place on Nov. 29. He is being held without bail in the weeks leading up to that date.
The incident surrounding Jackson's death occurred on June 25, 2009. The jurors had to consider whether to find Murray guilty of killing the King of Pop with doses of the powerful anesthetic Propofol.
