Vast Aire Signs To Man Bites Dog Records

You know how everyone still worships that 2001 Cannibal Ox album, Cold Vein? Well, one-third of the reason for that is rapper Vast Aire, who along with Vordul Mega made up the duo that featured production primarily from El-P. Their record together remains a defining moment in Definite Jux's legacy. But since then, both Vast and Vordul have done the solo thing, with the former just announcing his two-album deal with Man Bites Dog Records today. His latest album, OX 2010 Street Odyssey, is apparently dropping in late February 2011, three years after his previous LP, Deuces Wild. Also, a single featuring Cappadonna is due out soon. Could that album title be a sly reference to a possible Can Ox reunion? I'm crossing my fingers.
