Surprising no one, Van Halen have cancelled their previously-postponed tour dates. Back in May, barely a month after they got the whole summer reunion thing on the road, the group postponed every date following June 26, with reports ranging from the band members "are arguing like mad" to "they hate each other." But fans held out hope that those dates would be rescheduled after some therapy or something.
That springtime hope has seemingly died. There's still no official confirmation via the band itself, but Pollstar notes that the post-June 26 tour dates are listed in red (as in cancelled) on Ticketmaster's site. Refunds are also reportedly now available. Does Van Halen's dissolution stem from Patrick Carney's critical assessment? We'll keep you posted. [Rolling Stone]
