Vampire Weekend, the much debated afro-indie-pop quartet from New York, have announced that their sophomore album, now titled Contra, will be out on Jan. 12, 2010 via XL, the company that released their self-titled debut.

The album features 10 tracks, including "White Sky," a track they performed on Fallon earlier this year. That's the cover up there, and here's the track list:

01 Horchata
02 White Sky
03 Holiday
04 California English
05 Taxi Cab
06 Run
07 Cousins
08 Giving Up the Gun
09 Diplomat's Son

These guys are artists, and I enjoyed their first album a lot. I can't wait to see what this next one is like.
