Usher plans new album, embarks on tour
While his last album is still less than a year old, Usher already has his sights set on a "worldwide entertainment experience" for his next project. While he doesn't go into many specifics, Usher mentions that he'd like to travel outside of the US to record and lean towards a more international sound. It's obviously too early to say what any of that will amount to but it seems like a good start. Here I Stand was a decent LP but it's definitely time for Usher to expand his sound a little bit and find some more maturity (by which I mean depth, not a Parental Advisory sticker). In the mean time, Usher is reading scripts and his Ladies Only tour begins this Sunday in Atlanta, so don’t expect this talk to materialize into anything specific for some time.
