U2's YouTube Gig Draws 2.5 Million Viewers

The numbers are in for U2's YouTube concert from this Sunday, and they are sort of impressive: the concert at Pasadena's Rose Bowl drew 2.5 million YouTube viewers. For perspective, that's like half of the audience of a normal episode of The Office. U2: Officially able to draw (via computers) half the audience of the most watched show on the least watched network. [Spinner]

They made history with the first live webcast of its kind....if you want to be far with your comparison, this concert wasn't in primtime, but very late for East coasters like myself or at odd hours for europe and other parts of the world...very impressive!
