U2's Spider-Musical Back On, Has A Release Date
It was touch and go for a while, but it appears that the long in the works Spider-Man musical will see the light of day after all. Though Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming have walked away from the fifty-two million dollar extravaganza, it still features direction from Julie Taymor and songs from Bono and the Edge. Broadway vets Jennifer Damiano and Patrick Page have stepped in to the roles of Mary Jane and Norman Osborn. Unless the perceived appetite for spectacle sours in the mean time, opening night for Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark is set for December 21. [The AV Club]
