Amongst the seemingly 567 commercials I saw prior to seeing Public Enemies this weekend was an ad for Blackberry featuring U2 that is very reminiscent of Coldplay's iPod ad. In fact, my friend turned to me and said, "like Coldplay's iPod ad much?" The ad has been hitting TV a lot recently I guess (I can't speak to that since I'm too broke for cable), but it's above for your viewing pleasure. Either the same agency created the ads, or someone just totally jacked the idea from Apple. Either way, it's pretty lame.

Also, it's perhaps the first time ever that anyone has been linked to possibly plagiarizing something from Coldplay and not the other way around. Progress! [via Idolator]
