U2 Wants To Follow In Beatles' Rock Band Steps...Of Course
Adam Clayton said in a recent interview that after seeing Beatles: Rock Band, U2 is now reconsidering being a part of the music simulation world. Though Bono and the boys were in talks with EA as recently as last year, it wasn't until they saw the character renderings of the Fab Four that they began to rethink their position. Clayton said that "the animation is much more representative of them, is what we’re interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation." He added that the band simply "didn't want to be caricatured." This is very valid, because the furthest thing from anybody's mind when thinking about U2 is that they might possibly have become caricatures of the earnest musicians they once were. [NME]

Sunday Bloody Sunday might be cool, but I don't really care about any of there songs enough to want this to happen. A Talking Heads Rock Band though....

I'd rather have the Stones then the Beatles although that game looks pretty great.
I'd have an insane amount of fun with a Rolling Stones Rock Band game. I mean their songs are blisteringly simple, but a ton of fun to sing along with.
A Stones one would be awesome. I heard a while back that they were in talks with Guitar Hero, but I think that was a bad rumor.

I hope Harmonix doesn't do this. U2 would be boring to play for the most part. As if they need their own animations more than any other band already in RB. Give me a break. Anything more than DLC or a track on the next RB sequel would be a waste of company time.

Are you kidding me? The Beatles are sell-outs for having a Rock Band version of their game? One could argue they became sell-outs when they decided to SELL their music, but no one's saying that....And U2 would rule on Rock Band.
