Is anyone else a little sick of the U2 reissues that seem to come out every few months like clockwork? Sure The Joshua Tree was pretty good album, but do we need 17 copies of it?
Well, the band has just announced their latest reissue (hot on the heels of their reissues of Boy, October, and War) this one of their not so seminal live album released in 1983, Under a Blood Red Sky. Where their past reissues dealt out tons of extras and b-sides, this one is bare bones-- just the eight original tracks remastered. But the deluxe package of the album will feature a DVD of Live at Red Rocks, the first time the band’s concert film has ever been released on DVD (you can also buy the DVD separately).
Here the track lists for both:
Under a Blood Red Sky:
01 Gloria
02 11 O'Clock Tick Tock
03 I Will Follow
04 Party Girl
05 Sunday Bloody Sunday
06 The Electric Co.
07 New Year's Day
08 "40"
Live at Red Rocks:
01 Out of Control
02 Twilight
03 An Cat Dubh/Into the Heart
04 Surrender
05 Two Hearts Beat as One
06 Seconds
07 Sunday Bloody Sunday
08 Cry/The Electric Co.
09 October
10 New Year's Day
11 I Threw a Brick Through a Window
12 A Day Without Me
13 Gloria
14 Party Girl
15 11 O'Clock Tick Tock
16 I Will Follow
17 "40"
