Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All's mastermind, Tyler, the Creator, is going to have a hell of a week. His group makes its unlikely TV debut on Wednesday, and today comes news that he has signed to XL Recordings for a one-off album. This has been rumored for a while--the whole Odd Future group was linked to XL a few months ago--but it's still a surprise. Here's what Tyler had to say about it on his Twitter:
Yes, I Did A One Album Thing With XL. Thats Family. Don't Trip, Still Have %100 Creative Control Over Raps, Beats, Videos, Covers. Fuck You.
There's no word on when to expect said album, but dude works fast. Can't be too long, I would imagine. Just think: You will soon be able to buy Tyler's records in music stores.
guess the rumor I posted was pretty close! http://www.prefixmag.com/forum/music/10377/
Hmm, so will Goblin be on XL?
^^Yep. Looks like 'Goblin' is the one off.
Saweeeeeeeeeeeet. Cannot wait.
