Are you feeling excited about the release of TV on the Radio’s third album, Dear Science, which comes out on Tuesday? Are you suffering from a tense, nervous headache as the urge to resist downloading a leaked copy of the record overwhelms you? If so, take a few Tylenol and worry no more, because the Brooklyn band is generously streaming the entire album, including bonus tracks from the deluxe edition of the record, on last.fm. The second TV on the Radio album, Return to Cookie Mountain, leaked months ahead of schedule, but the band has acted swiftly to take matters into their own hands this time around. Remixes from Prefuse 73 and Williamsburg hipsters Telepathe are among the bonus tracks, but there’s no word on how long the album will be up on last.fm. My advice is to head over their fast, as it will presumably disappear when Interscope can actually make a few bucks from album sales. [Stereogum]
