TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek Launches Federal Prism Label

Dave Sitek is an in-demand producer and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with TV On The Radio, but now he can list "record label head" on his resumé. Today marks the opening of Federal Prism, Sitek's own label that promises to release music from a "curator-driven perspective."

Sitek plans to do just about everything: record, produce, mix, and release a series of 12-inch vinyl picture discs with personally-silkscreened artwork. The first release will be Telepathe's "Destroyer," taken from their 2009 Sitek-produced album Dance Mother. The b-side will be a remix of the song by Trent Reznor, Alessandro Cortini, and Atticus Ross.

The single will be out digitally on October 9 and on vinyl October 30. You can pre-order it at Federal Prism's website. Below, take a listen to "Destroyer" by Telepathe.
