First came news of a few September dates. Then we heard about the release of a new album, titled Dear Science,. And yes, that comma is going to cause some confusion. Now TV on the Radio has announced a full-scale tour to support the record, including a couple of hometown Brooklyn shows at the Masonic Temple in Fort Greene.

The jaunt will initially take the band through a few festivals, and will feature support acts Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson and the Dirtbombs at various points. There’s not much word on what Dear Science, will sound like, but NME declared guitarist David Sitek the most forward-thinking musician on the planet earlier this year, so expect something otherworldly.
