New TV on the Radio album Dear Science out on September 23

In the two years since TV on the Radio released the still-amazing Return to Cookie Mountain, they’ve toured the world over, Dave Sitek produced a bunch of middling records, and apparently recorded a new album. That new album (Dear Science,) is out on September 23 via Interscope. Whether that will be the actual release date is of question, especially since Interscope pushed back Cookie Mountain’s release for six months back in ‘06.

As we previously told you, the band hit the road in September, and the tour dovetails nicely with the album’s release. [Pitchfork]

Wow, really looking forward to this. I saw a tiny bit of Kyp Malone's set supporting Celebration in Brooklyn last night.

I wanted to go to Celebration but was too tired after Liars and just wanted to eat.
