Tupac Biopic Back In Production

After more than two years in legal purgatory after his moms fought for more creative control, a Tupac Shakur biopic directed by Antoine Fuqua is set to begin production this spring, and is seeking a Tupac right now. The movie is back in production following a pre-trial deal between Afeni Shakur-Davis and the production team at Morgan Creek, who were quibbling over the script and other minor details. Shakur-Davis finally acquiesced, and signed off on Fuqua’s vision for the film. Expect the movie to be out next year, assuming they find a Tupac. [NY Times]
