Tunde Adebimpe talks about new group with Doseone and Mike Patton

TV on the Radio frontman Tunde Adebimpe isn’t content with touring the world, making music videos for tracks from Dear Science, and appearing in the recently released Rachel Getting Married. Adebimpe has also told the Onion that he is part of a new supegroup (of sorts) with Adam “Doseone” Drucker and Mike Patton.

Drucker has collaborated with Adebimpe and Patton in the past, albeit on different projects. But the as-yet unnamed group that will bring these three disparate singers together should make for fascinating listening. Adebimpe says they have been “working on a project that I’m thinking will congeal toward the end of the year. It came from an idea that Adam had, to have the three of us just, basically, mess around vocally and see what comes of it.” [via Pitchfork]
