Ghetto Inmate member Roberto Guzman Rosado, Jr., known to the rap game as Tru Life, has turned himself in for murder in the first. The New York rapper signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella is being charged with the murder of an 18-year-old, who was attacked in a Manhattan apartment on June 16.
This crime allegedly involves a gang feud between Rosado’s brother and a certain Jason Black. Black was the other victim of the June 16 assault, during which five gang members stabbed him and the victim in the chest and face. He survived in critical condition. This attack was likely a retaliation against the shooting of a suspected drug dealer named Michael Slater outside of Club Pacha.
Rosado’s brother, whose name is being withheld, was involved in a conflict between Rosado and Cam’Ron outside of Club Studio in 2007. Rosado punched the rapper in the face.
The rapper also had a high-profile beef with Mobb Deep years ago that resulted in Mobb Deep affiliates being held up with Uzis and guns at a studio, where they were then robbed. [Yo! Raps Magazine]
