It's always very odd to find out which celebrities are friends with each other. For instance, apparently Trent Reznor is friends with producer and director JJ Abrams; such good friends, that Reznor volunteered to fiddle around and create a special version of his Year Zero track "Zero Sum," to be used specifically in a minute long commercial for Abrams' newest show, the X-Filesesque "Fringe."
In the above clip Reznor creepily whispers some dialogue said by Leonard Nimoy's character in the show, the mysterious William Bell, over his reworked "Zero Sum." According to Entertainment Weekly, you can even see one of the show's glyphs in the track's sound file. Mr. Reznor does not play.
