Travis Barker suing two companies after plane crash

The tragic plane crash involving former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM that took the lives of four people is about to add another chapter, as Barker and the mother of Barker’s bodyguard who died in the crash, Charles Monroe Still Jr, are suing two companies for responsibility of the crash.

Barker is suing Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, the company that owned the plane that crashed, and the airplane maintenance company for $25,000 for damages, pain and suffering, loss of earnings, plus medical and legal expenses. Still’s mother, Thelma Martin Still, is suing for damages including grief and sorrow, and funeral expenses.

In the lawsuit Still and Barker claim that the pilots were not properly trained on what to do if malfunctions occurred, and that the jet they were flying on was defective. [NME]
