Travis Barker And Yelawolf’s Collaborative EP ‘Psycho White’ Now Streaming

Travis Barker is a man whose work can be found in virtually every genre present in popular music today. Before joining the what would become the biggest pop-punk band in the world, Blink 182, Barker played drums in the west coast ska outfit, The Aquabats and would later appear in the punk/ hip-hop fusion band the Transplants and perform as a DJ/ drum duo with DJ AM. In 2011 he finally released a mostly hip-hop album under his own name – a compilation of songs he produced and played drums on.

Now he’s releasing a long-awaited and much hyped collaboration with Gadsdan, Alabama rapper, Yelawolf. Titled Psycho White, the EP came into fruition after the pair recorded what would become the record’s lead single “Push Em.” Inspired, they continued to write and ended up with four songs, all extremely solid and an amalgamation of both artist’s past work.

The record now streaming via Rolling Stone and features guest contributions from Transplants vocalists Skinhead Rob and Tim Armstrong. Psycho White is available tomorrow November 13. [HipHopDX]
