Trailer: John C. Reilly in <i>Walk Hard</i>

In the looks so stupid it might actually be awesome category, here's the new trailer for current do-no-wrong producer Judd Apatow's Walk Hard, due in theaters December 21. John C. Reilly plays the lead character, the unfortunately named Dewey Cox, in an admittedly well-deserved send up of recent portentous musician biopics (Ray, Walk the Line); and '' talk about too many cooks '' check out those cameos! Jack White as Elvis, Paul Rudd as John Lennon, that one guy from those Christopher Guest movies '' fuck yeah, it's even got Matt Besser!.
The scene where Reilly breaks into a horribly dubbed, wimpy Buddy Holly-esque tune in the gymnasium is priceless. I think I was kind of blind sided the first time I watched this, but it's grown on me with the second viewing. After this year's appearances in Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job!, I'm a bit overly convinced of Reilly's comedy talents. Hope this one turns out as good as the trailer hints.
