Track Review: Pharoahe Monch - "Desire"

Via: Spine
It's been seven years and at least one shelved record since we've had a Pharoahe Monch album to call our own, but as the December 19th release date (hopefully) grows closer and more likely for Desire, the title track has leaked. Produced by the uneven but occasionally brilliant Alchemist, this is a homerun for the producer, a soaring soul-drenched shining light. And Monch shows why he deserves all the attention next month: "When my brain excels / your train derails / pop shit / make you feel the Clipse, like Pharrell." Along with the already stellar single "Push"/"Let's Go," expectations for the full-length couldn't be higher.

I saw him do this live a month ago with Billy Danz, I am really feeling "Push" also.
