Too $hort's Memoirs Due out Later This Year

Too $hort, the father of every rap song about getting busy (since nearly all his songs are about the subject), has announced that he will be releasing his memoirs, Life is Too Short: The Resilient Life of Todd Shaw, later this year (or maybe early next year). The book, which features a forward from fellow California rapper Snoop Dogg, was written with Dale Tafoya and it will share intimate details about Too $hort's 25-plus years in hip-hop (he released his debut, Don't Stop Rappin' in 1982). Too $hort has released 17 albums (including more than a few since he "retired," paving the way for Jay-Z to do the same), and sold over 11 million albums, and he was honored last year by being inducted to Vh1's Hip-Hop Honors.
