It's taken him more than 50 years, but Tony Bennett has finally topped Billboard's album chart, as his Duets II album sold 183,ooo copies this week, taking down all challengers. Bennett has been promoting the album more than he has for some of his other albums, doing big concerts and being all over TV. It paid off, obviously.
Last week's number one, Lady Antebellum's latest, slid to number two, while Adele's 21 hangs in, again, for number three, selling 118,000 copies and moving her total to over 3.6 million. [HDD]
