Skateboard legend and original Bones Brigade member Tommy Guerrero will release his eighth full-length, Return of the Bastard, on February 26. As always, Guerrero plays just about every instrument on the album (guitar, base, kalimba and percussion). And he gets help from fellow old-school skater Chuck Treece on drums, Brazilian artist Curumin on vocals, and Fredo Ortiz on congas. Guerrero is clearly sticking with his atmospheric aesthetic here, mixing blues, light touches of Bossa Nova and samba to form laid-back grooves on the mostly instrumental tracks.
