Tom Waits tour in the works

Tom Waits, whose performance schedule in recent years has been about as active as Pete Doherty at an AA meeting, is about to make the summer a little brighter for everyone. He'll be making the rounds this year on his "Glitter and Doom" tour (now there's a guy that knows how to name a tour).

Although his website is dark at the moment, it's been announced that you can find info there, specificallly "highlights from a press conference," this Monday at 6:00 AM EST. Till then, we'll be busying ourselves with marathon viewings of the Down By Law DVD and an iTunes playlist with Bone Machine on endless repeat.

why do people say that Waits doesn't perform or play live, He actually does VERY often and has done at least the last few years. Right he's no Rolling Stones but then he doesn't want to be.
