Tom Morello goes solo as the Nightwatchman, possibly reconvenes Rage
Social activist ax slinger Tom Morello has been performing at rallies and small clubs over the past few years under the name The Nightwatchman. Now he'll be releasing the first album in that guise. One Man Revolution will be out on Epic on April 24th. Brendan O'Brien produced the album.
As for the second half of the title of this post, it seems that first up on the big Coachella Reunion Rumorwheel this year is Rage Against the Machine. Neither Morello nor Coachella's organizers are confirming anything yet. I actually think the prime time for a Rage comeback has probably come and gone, now that Bush is an ever more lame duck and anger against him really seems played out at this point.
Still holding out for Pavement. Anybody heard any of them rumors?

[...] Following up on a rumor posted this past weekend, it has now been confirmed by Coachella organizers that Rage Against the Machine will be coming out of retirement to play the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, taking place April 27-29 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
