Tom Morello, Das Racist, Dan Deacon Play May Day OWS Event (Video)

    The musician support for the Occupy movement is strong, and Tom Morello, Das Racist and Dan Deacon made that clear during yesterday’s OWS May Day event in New York City’s Bryant Park. With his fellow protestors Morello–who co-founded the Axis of Justice non-profit with System of a Down’s Serj Tankian–led the crowd through the Woody Guthrie staple “This Land is Your Land.”

    Das Racist also took to the stage for the Relax cuts “Michael Jackson” and “Rainbow in the Dark,” and electronic wizard Dan Deacon played a bit while trying to organize a dance off. Check out the clips from the event below. [Billboard]
