We here at Prefixmag HQ in Los Angeles go weak in the knees at the mere mention of transplanted midwestern folk singer/songwriter Tom Brosseau, who brought some North Dakotan tumbleweeds a-rollin' out west when he moved to our smog-kissed environs a few years back. Break out the knee braces, 'cuz Brosseau has just announced a short spate of dates withGerman pianist/composer (and Fat Cat labelmate) Hauschka, who's had his own share of Prefix love recently. Brosseau will debut new material from his forthcoming full-length album, due out sometime in '09. A dude this sweet and gracious is bound to invite a couple guest musicians and collaborators up on stage with him...
