Tionne Watkins, better known as "T-Boz," in the '90s all-girl hip-hop outfit TLC, has announced that she is getting her own reality television show. And the network that's airing it? Fittingly, it's TLC.
Many of you may be thinking why on earth would a network choose Watkins as a reality television star. She's not relevant these days, and unless you're a product of the '90s, her name may not even sound familiar.
Well, here's why: she's had some drama in her life. In late 2011, Watkins filed for bankruptcy, which is a story all in itself. According to TMZ, the show will focus on the 42-year-old single mom as she attempts to relaunch her music career after recovering from a life-threatening brain tumor she was diagnosed with in 2006. The tumor was so malignent that upon its removal, Watkins had to relearn how to walk and talk.
Okay, that all sounds interesting enough...but what we really want to know is, will she be hanging out with Honey Boo Boo?
