Titus Andronicus Embark On "Monitour," Need Places To Stay

Titus Andronicus, whose sophtmore effort, Monitor, is released March 9 on XL, are touring. Or "Monitouring." Get it? (Their joke, not mine.) The band, being "broke-ass boxcar bums," according to their website, are looking for places to stay. Should you put them up, the band will let you into the show for free. Presumably late-night beard-offs are thrown into that mix, also. If you're interested, e-mail

Living in NYC makes this difficult, unless were to visit family in Montreal when TA is there. But that would make me a creep.

Living in NYC makes seeing TA like once a week easy!

I saw them play one of the pool parties in Williamsburg in 2008, and they blew Yo La Tengo, the "headliners", off the stage. Dude cut of his beard, too.

I was at that show too. I just think that their style of music is great for large outdoor concerts. YLT probably not so much so unless you're there for them.

Definitely the venue. YLT at Prospect Park is delightful.

I would have Titus Andronicus stay at my place, but I've banned from taking strange bands home with me by my housemates.
