Ting Tings Announce Sophomore Album For March Release

British schoolyard poppers The Ting Tings were one of 2008's most unlikely successes, as they rode Go! Team chants and big sounds all the way to Grammy nominations. The band has been pretty quiet since 2008, though, but now they're set to return: On a yet-to-be-named Tuesday in March, Columbia will issue Sounds from Nowheresville, the group's sophomore album. 

Apparently there was an album in between this one and the last one--the group spent 18 months working an album in Berlin, before scrapping it. This new one was recorded in Spain, and was "inspired" by Paul's Boutique, whatever that means. Here's first single, "Hang It Up.":
