Where a=Timbo, b=Nelly, and c=JT
If a+b=success, and a+c=success, then does a+b+c=super success?
Almost.
The supposed first single off Timbaland's new album, "Give It To Me" comes very close, but lacks the "oh shit" factor I was expecting. Maybe its because the song is new to my ears, but "Give It To Me" doesn't have the immediacy of a "Promiscuous Girl" or "My Love". But still, there's plenty to love here from the dancehall vibe to the catchiness of the chorus. And its the type of song that will get better with each listen. Timbaland is a dog chasing his own tail right now, and I mean that in the best of ways.
But decide for yourself...

I think Tim's verse is dissing Scott Scorch, JT is taking shots at Janet (but the KFed thing makes sense too) and Nelly is talking about Fergie. The line where Nelly spits "I see you tryin to change it up/But girl you ain't that dope" could be a response to Fergie's "Fergalicious" song. There's a verse in "Fegalicious" where Fergie 'raps' "Fergalicious/But I ain't Promiscuous/And if you was suspicious/All that shit is fictitious"... Idk, its a crazy, sick, hott, wicked track though! haha...

Isn't this the track that was suppose to be on Nelly Furtado's album album called Crowd Control? It was listed as a duet between her and Justin. But at last minute did not make the final cut. I think the two gave it for a future Timbaland track which was renamed to this. If so then she's not dissing fergie unless she heard fergalicious back in May '06, which is possible.

This is the best timba-tune all year. Its not quite as immediate as promiscuous girl, but it grows each time you listen it through. Kinda hypnotic song,once you've discovered how great the beat is, the hypnoticism in the song and the catchiness of nellys chorus, you'll realize its the club/hiphop-tune of the year....Yeah!

They debuted this song on 102.7 Kiis FM with Ryan Seacrest and it was pretty cool. I like the hum drum tones they use in the singing and the beat is pretty catchy. I know if I was in the club or needed a pick me up in the car, I would totally be into this song. I think that timbaland's work is good and its cool how he is mixing up music artists and genres to make his music. When he was on air, he was saying that he has a song with Elton John...interesting. Kudos to this song overall.

Ok.. lets clear some things up first...JT is talking about Janet appearance on Oprah last year. She wanted to "clear the air" about what happened at the superbowl. She put him on blast during the show so he felt the need to say something back. The mumbling is referring to the fact that she didn't come out and say what was on her mind. She was kinda scared to say it til Oprah pulled it out if her.And he is Def talking about Prince not K-Fed. Prince made some comments about JT's SexyBack single when it came out.other than that, the song is cool. The beat is tight. Timbo still rocks but the rest of the Cd falls flat, i think.
