Timbaland charts at #5, 'Shock Value' winner announced

Big ups to Andrew and his guess of 145,000 units sold for Timbaland's Shock Value debut last week, which was close to the actual total of 138,000 albums sold. Your $20 Amazon gift certificate is on the way. What beat out Timbo and kept him out of the #1 spot? How about the hits compilation "Now 24"along taking the top spot followed by albums from Tim McGraw, Martina McBride and Hillary Duff. Paul Wall debuted at #9 with 92,000 albums sold versus the 176,000 albums he sold with his 2005 debut "The People's Champ." Check out our "Week in Preview" to see what came out this week.
We're taking a break from the album sales contest this week, but we'll be back next week. Most likely we'll be asking for predictions on the new NIN album Year Zero.

it's amazing how many people out there listen to bad music, or don't seem to care about finding good music
