There's been quite a bit of grumbling over Missy Elliott's lack of material lately -- after all, she hasn't released an album since 2005. But according to a new tweet from Timbaland, Elliott is about to make something of a comeback, with a pair of new singles that will drop over Labor Day Weekend (September 1-3).
As Timbo has it, the songs are titled "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat" and will be featured on Elliott's upcoming seventh album, which is tentatively titled Block Party. Additionally, Elliott chimed in to say that fans shouldn't expect "the ass shake music we always do. Time 2 go more futuristic." So, should be hot!
