Tim Green has a simple little name, but he's had anything but a simple little musical career. Green (at left creating one of those hot-right-now LOLCats shots, surely) first made a name for himself in the seminal D.C. band Nation of Ulysses. He's currently a member of the NSFW-named Fucking Champs. He also has his own studio, Louder Studios, where's he's recorded and engineered work by Joanna Newsome, the Melvins, and Bratmobile. As if this big body of work wasn't enough, Green is also the main man behind a side project he calls Concentrick. Concentrick's sound is a little softer and ambient than the harder-edged leanings of the Fucking Champs. Green will release his fourth album under the Concentrick guise, Aluminum Lake, August 28 on Drag City.
