The seventeenth annual Tibet House benefit concert will be held February 26 at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Possibly of most interest on the bill is Sigur Ros, the members of which just last week announced they're working on their next album. Minimalist composing legend Philip Glass, who serves as the artistic director for the event, will perform, as well as artists who are becoming mainstays for this particular event: Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed and Patty Smith. Ray Davies and Debbie Harry will also be on hand.
Are recordings of these concerts ever available? It would be nice to see selections from them released on iTunes the way tracks from past Bridge School benefits recently were.
