T.I. Talks New Album, Says It'll Be Out In August
The Atlantic got the first post-prison interview with T.I., and it has kindly posted it on YouTube. In the clip above, T.I. talks about how it was hard to write songs in prison, trying to maintain his fame, feeling good being out of prison, and about how he'll be putting out a new album in August. Apparently said record is "going hard like classic T.I.," which should be good news for fans of his earlier, less poppy work. It's interesting that he mentions not being able to write in prison, since both Weezy and Gucci Mane have claimed they'll have no problem writing in prison. In Gucci's case, dude has essentially written all of his material behind bars. [NahRight]
