T.I. Talks Down Suicidal Jumper

Southern rapper, ex-convict run up on gun charges and now, suicidal hotline support? Apparently, rapper T.I. played a major role in convincing a suicidal 22-year old male atop an Atlanta building on Wednesday to not commit suicide. According to the story, the rapper heard about the situation on the radio and then promptly drove over to the scene and offered to help. Once there, T.I. recorded a video of himself on a cell phone and rescue workers took it to the man to prove the rapper was really there. “I told him it ain’t that bad. It’ll get better, to put the time and effort into making it better,” T.I. said in a statement to the Associated Press. “I just reminded him that I know. It looks bad right now, but it can turn around.”

Despite his act of good citizenship, T.I. is still scheduled to appear in court in two days in regards to a drug-related arrest that could violate the rapper's parole. Hopefully the good deed by Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. will help his lawyers get him off on the charges so the rest of us can enjoy some more club-bangers this winter.
