T.I. Preps New Album For Early 2012 Release

T.I. has been all over the damn place lately. Don’t believe me? Then let me point you to his new verses on the “I’ma Boss,” “She Will,” “Hard White,” “Ni**as in Paris,” “Spend It,” “The Motto,” and “Magic” remixes. Oh, and he dropped a great new single, too, in the Big K.R.I.T-assisted “I’m Flexin’.” Not bad, right?

Well, Tip’s obviously not going to stop there and apparently he’s already plotting the follow-up to last year’s super-disappointing No Mercy. His new album doesn’t have a name yet and he’s in no rush to get it finished. But he told the Boombox that he’s thinking about dropping it in February 2012. Yeah, no big deal, that’s only like three and a half months away. Read his statement on the new record below.

“I mean, I don’t feel a certain amount of pressure to get it done by a certain time. I feel the usual pressure of making an album my life, like every time I do an album I feel the pressure of needing to make it my life, you know? But I take that pressure and apply it to my creative process. The tentative date is looking like February,” he said.
