We have a slight conclusion to one of the more frustrating stories of the past few days. T.I. has indeed been released from prison, though not entirely. He's currently residing in a halfway house, where he will likely remain until his 11-month sentence ends Sept. 29. This comes after his lawyer said otherwise in interviews yesterday, though, perhaps, he was referring to his client being completely freed.
T.I. announced his freedom-of-sorts this morning by taking to his Twitter account, on which he sent out the following message:
"Feels great to be back where I belong…Back in the arms of those who need me the most. The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"
And to give us a glimpse into his post-prison life, MTV is reporting that VH1 will be airing a series in December that will depict how he and his wife (Tameka "Tiny" Harris) will work to stay out of legal trouble and focus on their careers. The show is set to premiere Dec. 5 at 10 p.m.
