T.I. Not Being Releasing From Prison Tomorrow

Sorry, T.I. fans, it turns out that he definitely won't be getting released from prison tomorrow. I know, I know, we reported otherwise this morning. But hey, we did note that it was only a possibility. But XXL has received word that the rapper will not be leaving Forrest City Federal Prisons in Arkansas that early.

They spoke with Tip's chief attorney, Jonathan Leonard, who said his client will not be freed tomorrow, Aug. 31. Instead, T.I. will be out of prison on Sept. 29, which you might remember was the original date we reported back in May. Leonard also told XXL that the "Bureau of Prisons won’t give you the information [of his release] until the very last minute." So that means T.I.could be out early, though we probably won't know when that could happen up until it actually happens.

So we're pretty much betting on a Sept. 29 release, which will hopefully be the last time Tip is thrown behind bars.
