T.I. Makes First Public Appearance, Definitely Working On New Album

On Monday night, recently paroled rapper T.I. made his first public appearance since being locked up at a For the Love of Our Fathers benefit at Atlanta’s Opera House. T.I. was there supporting his fiancee Tameka Cottle, who helped organize the fundraiser. The big news from the benefit is that those reports of T.I. working on a new album while at the half-way house are totally true, as he told people there he was working on new stuff. T.I. served the first eight months of his year-long sentence in prison before being transfered to the half-way house in December. He is scheduled to be at the half-way house, for now at least, through the remainder of his jail term, which ends in May. [Real Talk NY]
