T.I.’s Paper Trail is expected to be the number one album in the country when the Billboard charts are released this week. (Which should not come as a surprise to the 62 people who ventured guesses in our predict the sales contest last week.) As of Friday, Paper Trail had already moved 357,000 copies, finishing third in first four days sales this year (behind only Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III and Coldplay’s Viva la Vida, with four day sales of 630,000 and 459,000 respectively).
Paper Trail is set to be T.I.’s third straight number one album, after 2006’s King and last year’s T.I. Vs. T.I.P. each topped the charts in their first week out. [Billboard]
