T.I. Announces ‘Trouble Man’ Release Date

T.I. has scheduled his upcoming eighth studio album, Trouble Man, with a new release date. During an appearance on 106 & Park, the Grand Hustle CEO announced that his new LP will hit stores on Dec. 18. Trouble Man was previously set for a Sept. 4 arrival, but Tip delayed the release back in August as he wanted to make sure “we give the people the best possible project we can give them.”

A tracklist has yet to be revealed, but T.I. has already announced a number of the guest features on his new album. André 3000, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rocky, R. Kelly and Cee Lo Green are just some of the names confirmed. Meanwhile, “Like That,” “Love This Life” and “Go Get It” are currently available as singles.

“I think it’s a lot more urban than Paper Trail, and less apologetic than No Mercy,” T.I. said of Trouble Man in an interview with Rap-Up earlier this year. “I think it’s more diversified than T.I. vs. T.I.P. though. It’s got a lotta heart, it’s got a lotta edge. It’s a creative album. It’s probably harder than most of the shit that’s coming out right now.”

Prefix will update you with further details as they become available.
