Thurston Moore to Teach Preschoolers About White Noise, Avant-Gardeness...

Both outrageous and true, the king of noise rock Thurston Moore is set to lecture children about white noise and other out there topics this weekend. 

The Sonic Youth frontman will give his "Dissertation on White Noise" at the Partners & Spade gallery in New York on Sunday April 11.  The wildly pretentious sounding event is part of a program called Avant Garde Preschool and the proceeds will go to the art program at New York school P.S. 126.  So if you are a kid between the ages of 8 and 12 or an aging hipster parent, with 30 bucks burning a hole in your pocket and a jonesing for heady lectures, don't be late.
